With more and more people writing and selling their own ebooks, now is the perfect time to take your ebook writing to the next level. Here’s how you can do that:
1. Choose your topics wisely
95% of your success in ebook writing will depend on your topics. If you go with those ones that are extremely interesting to your potential clients or popular online, you can be assured that your book sales will soar high. Don’t do the guessing game when choosing your topics and don’t just rely on what you know. It would help if you can do a keyword research to easily figure out what your potential clients are looking for. You can also directly communicate with your readers through blogs and forums or send them surveys through your autoresponders to know exactly what they want.
2. Deliver informative ebooks
Online users will spend their money on your ebooks for one good reason: they would like to be informed. Don’t let them down by making sure that your ebooks contain all the information that they are looking for. It would help if you can do your research or work together with other experts on your chosen niche to obtain more information that can make your ebooks content-rich.
3. Help your readers
By this, I simply mean deliver information that can be useful or helpful to your readers. Offer answers to their burning questions, information about their hobbies and other areas of interest, solutions to their pressing issues, and some instructional texts that can empower these people to do things on their own.
4. Add some human touch
You can better connect with your readers if you make them feel that the content is really intended for them. Make use of “you” and “your” more often, strive to sound friendly, warm, spontaneous, and use conversational tone all throughout your content.
5. Love what you do
This will definitely set you apart from the rest. If you like what you are doing and if you take pride in helping your readers, there is no doubt that you’ll be able to produce high quality ebooks.
6. Be different
Did you know that the best way to get lost in the plethora of writers online is to not have your own identity? Don’t be somebody else’s copycat. Instead, strive to be different or unique and be known for it. Always think out of the box and be innovative.

How To Make More And Work Less With A Residual Income Opportunity
By Gen Wright
The internet is the land of opportunities for entrepreneurs to start over. Nobody dreams of working 60 or 70 hours a week just to make enough to get by. With a residual income opportunity you can start making more while working less.
If you want to be able to take time off whenever you choose to and not fall behind with work, this is the ultimate opportunity. It is the initial work that can be a bit strenuous, but you will be rewarded greatly following these efforts. Also referred to as passive income, residual income is money made that does not require your direct involvement.
You are probably familiar with a few different kinds of opportunities that allow you to make residual income. Some of your options include owning rental property or having royalties on an invention or some kind of creative work. Network marketing presents you with the ability to make a great deal of residual income several different ways.
The most common method internet marketers make this type of income online is by creating an e-book. The thought of having to write a book does not appeal to many. People assume it has to be some 100 page book that goes into extreme details. However, you can get away with a 20 to 30 page book as well.
You want your e-book to act as an instructional manual of some sort. If you write a proficient e-book, you can profit from it the rest of your life. While it does take time to write the book, you have to do no work after it has been written. You can sit back and collect your earnings.
The other popular residual income opportunity online is selling software. There is a dire need for software with most businesses online to stay with or ahead of the competition. You do not necessarily have to create the software. All you have to do is promote it and make money off of it.
While no one wants to work 60 hours a week, most people do not desire to work their entire lives. By jumping into a residual income opportunity, you can set yourself up nicely for retirement. And with the economy the way it is now, it is nice to think positively about the future. It does not matter if you have had a business for a while or are just starting out. The time is now for you to find your opportunity to make residual income.

How To Write An Article That Converts To Sales
By Debbie Allen
Writing articles is not hard to do but if you want an article that will really work for you then you will need to use a few proven techniques. Articles that convert to sales have to meet certain criteria. To begin with they have to be read in order to get a click-through. Articles without punchy or attention grabbing titles are likely to be passed by without being read or published.
Therefore, attention must be paid to the title. Keywords should be included as this will help the article to get noticed by the people you are targeting. Titles that are too short often go unnoticed and titles that are too long may be avoided by publishers. So carefully craft a title that is of appropriate length, uses keywords and grabs attention.
Articles should begin with an introductory paragraph. This paragraph should let the reader know what the article will be about and it should also include the keywords. In essence, this paragraph will tell the reader what you will be telling them in the rest of the article.
It is important that the article be formatted in a way that appears to provide a quick and easy read. People are in a hurry and they want to be able to skim over an article if it pleases them. By using short sentences and concise paragraphs the formatting looks nicer and the article is easy to read. Bulleted lists also add to the ease of reading.
One sentence should flow right into the next. Pretend that you are talking with a friend and explaining the subject matter. Your words and sentences would have a nice flow to them. That is exactly what you want to happen with your writing. You need to be informative but in a way that is entertaining to the reader. Your reader should want to read the next sentence.
Throughout the article you should pepper your keywords. But do not over do it. Again, go back to how you would use those terms if you were talking with a friend. Make the flow natural and only use the keywords when they fit in.
The final paragraph should be a summary of what the article has discussed. It should directly tie in with the introduction. Additionally, it should leave the reader reading, this is so that the resource box will get read.
The resource box should continue the flow of the article. Your goal is to get the reader to read this information and to click through to your links. Give the reader a reason to do that. Entice him with a great offer such as a free report or special discount. Do not forget to add your keywords in the resource box.
By carefully crafting your articles you will find that they do create sales and establish you as an authority in your field. Your profits will increase and your credibility will soar.

Reasons Why You Should Hire A Web Designer
By Kristi Ambrose
If you are going to have an online business or work from home for yourself, it's a good idea to get a website going. Now, this website doesn't need to be all glitz and all glam. Just something professional, neat, organized and user-friendly will do. The point of doing this yourself, is to save money. Unfortunately if you don't know anything about web design, web development, or coding in general, you could potentially end up screwing up your site or just going bonkers trying to figure everything out on your own.
In the long run, hiring a designer is really something that will pay off in the end, and thankfully for us, it's not as expensive as you may think it is. And even if it is $50-$100 more than if you did it yourself, so what! Now you can concentrate on what's really important, the business, rather than the design. No more headaches, no more stressing out, no more frustrations. Just tell the designer what you want, what you don't want, and provide he or she with everything such as logos, graphics, photos, and they will take care of it for you!
Just as a Chef knows her way around a kitchen, a web designer knows his way around a web page. They will set everything up for you. Now what's nice about these designers is for the most part when they offer web design they will also offer other things such as logo design, web domains, development, hosting, etc. This is a great "one stop shop" for people that are looking to build a big website, but they just don't have the time to go searching around for 10 different people to do 10 different things to their website!
A few years back I hired on a designer to take care of my photography site for me, he set up the template I bought, installed it onto my hosting account, set up the cpanel, re-sized my photos, did my logo, for a mere $450. Now that might seem like a lot of money, but just think about how professional the site looked, and from the profits I made alone, it covered the cost of the designer two fold. This really is a superb thing to look into if you either have a small job or a large job. These guys can definitely get it done for you easily, quickly, and inexpensively, check it out!

Get The Right Host For Your Website Or Blog
By Richard Lang
When starting a website or blog, there are several important details you will want to pay close attention to. It is vital you take the time to research your target market, learn what people are looking for, and find an effective domain name. The host you opt to go with deserves just as much attention as it can have a large impact on your success.
You never realize some of the most important pieces of life until they are missing or hurt. The same can be said about the hosting company you choose. The hosting company is the company who provides you with server space so your website or blog is live and active. It allows people to come to your site and see what you have to offer.
If the server is down and your hosting allows it to remain down, you will notice. However, if everything is running smoothly the last thing you are going to think about is the hosting company. This is exactly why you want to take the time to find a safe and reliable host.
There are a few things you want to look at when selecting a company to provide hosting for your website or blog. The first thing you want to look at is how reliable the company is. No matter how good a company is, there is bound to be a time when your server will be down. Therefore, find out how often the hosting company goes down.
In addition to this, you want to find out approximately how long it takes them to fix the problem. If something goes wrong and they fix the problem within minutes, it really is not that bad of a problem. But if they allow your website or blog to be inactive for several hours or even an entire day, that is valuable business you could be losing.
Lastly, you want to find out how easy it is to contact the hosting company and actually speak with a representative if you ever need to. If there is a problem with your hosting and something is not right about your website or blog, you need to be able to contact them immediately. The longer it takes to get a hold of them, the longer it will be before you can begin creating business again.
Although it is not the most noticeable feature to your business, the hosting company you choose can have a drastic impact on the success of your business. Take the time to research and find the safest and most reliable host to keep your website or blog up and running smoothly.

An Online Business For Web Designer And Developer
By Ben Needles
A friend of mine, a web developer came up to me and asked if I have any idea on how to start a business online. I, a web designer, for one can not believe that I’m making a business of the internet much so that I got intrigued and excited about him making an effort to start an online business. He already has a very high salary, working as a head web developer of a very known company. So I already have an idea that my friend wouldn’t quit his job anytime soon. But I’m quite happy for him for making the effort of starting his own business and earn an income online.
He was my professor back in college, having the same passion for learning, he is very successful with his career and so am I on my chosen path. He asked me, “What’s the best blogging platform?” I said, “Wordpress, most blogs are wordpress.” He already have an idea on how to get started but really have no clue of the process of actually making money. I asked, “What’s cooking?” He said, “I went up looking at an entrepreneur magazine looking up for a business to start, then I realized I’m a web developer. There must be some way to make business out of it. Then I remembered you. You are the prof now. Can you help me?”
Of course I can. Here are some of the tips that I said to him.
* Blog about your passion if it’s profitable - Many people will say that, i.e. blog about your passion. Well it depends, you don’t want to starve, do you? You must take priority of your needs first so you can quit your job early. If you can blog about your passion and there’s a market for it, go for it. That’s 2 birds in 1 stone. Know if the topic is profitable first, then make a site around it. Personally, I’m a believer of delayed gratification. The first things we have to do when making a business online is to get paid and not starve. Blogging about my passion may give me the joy, but it’s useless to continue if I starve. What’s the point of doing business and quitting your job then if you can’t make a living about your passion?
* Invest in yourself - The reason why most people fail in business, especially making money online is that not many people are willing to sacrifice and spend some money to learn. Bloggers are known to be tech savvy and will do anything to get things for free. But real entrepreneurs know the value of knowledge so much that they are willing to spend time and money to attain it. I had an experience wasting 10,000 pesos trying to learn PPC. Did it really went to waste? No! I learned PPC a little bit and might take more money to get a grasp on it. But I’m willing to spend to educate myself.
* Stop reading make money online blogs - The best way to make money online is to go out there and try it yourself. Shed some money if you have to. That will be your foundation. Just stop reading make money online blogs. No offense to the make money online bloggers, I know it’s their passion to blog about making money. But being a newbie once in this field, make money online blogs didn’t really help. It’s better to read SEO blogs for SEO, affiliate marketing for making money as an affiliate or self improvement blogs for your business mentality. If I have found a good make money online blogs that teach people the truth and really make money, I would gladly advertise it on my site.
* Learn SEO - This is the bread and butter of online business. Learn real SEO from keyword research to promoting a site. Stop reading make money online blogs. Learn from the real experts in SEO, read SEOmoz, or ask at webmaster forums.
* Choose only 1 type of monetization - If you’re going for adsense, go for it and no more. Do not put competition on your page. There is the thing we call in business Diversification, this is true as to not put all your eggs in one basket. But it doesn’t mean put all banner ads or adsense on the page that you can fit. In reality, what it means is that, don’t put all your effort into 1 site. Putting a thousand of ads in your site will not only make your site look desperate, it will lack the credibility for affiliate offers and direct advertisers.
* Choose a niche - Blog about a specific niche. Do not blog about anything under the sun. If you’ll be monetizing the site with direct advertising, you know that these companies only want people that are viewing the ads that are related to their interest. Would you sell a guitar to a piano player? Having to blog anything without any specific topic will give advertisers the second thought of advertising with you. It’s because your viewers and traffic are junk that came from different sorts of life.
* Quit your job when you’re making twice as much online - This should have been my goal back then when I quit my job. It could’ve been a lot easier. It took me about 3 hard and sleepless months stumbling and starving to get my passive income as much as my day job and another 3 months to double it. Well it’s a good strategy to quit early though. For me, I had fun, if I didn’t make money within this certain period of month, I’m gonna fail my parents and die hungry.

Are You Being Sociable?
By James Slader
Sometimes affiliate marketing can be a lonely business. You sit in front of your personal computer every day looking at traffic statistics. You constantly write articles and send them to your quality article distribution service. Maybe you write product reviews and brandable reports. However, are you connecting with people on a regular basis? Being sociable can open up new markets for your affiliate products.
Being sociable on the Internet means visiting chat portals, blogs, and forums. It also means responding personally, not via automated responses, to e-mails you receive for more information on an affiliate product. The more times potential customers see you as a person, and not a walking commercial, the better.
Those people who comprise your niche market want something of value from you. When you visit a chat site or forum related to your affiliate topic, go there with the intent to inform. Do not go there as a veggie-slicer TV salesperson pressing for a sale.
When you engage in discussions with like-minded individuals concerning your affiliate topic show them you are an expert in the subject. Give them useful information and point them to where they can access more information. Let them know where your website is and where your in-depth article content resides. Don't recite scripted sales letters to them on a chat site or a forum venue. The selling part of your job comes later. You are engaging here in pre-selling conversation.
Visiting blogs is a tool to grow your affiliate business. When you check out web blogs that deal with topics related to your affiliate product, leave comments. In your comments, place a link to your website. If you leave intelligent comments that answer questions posed, you encourage a reader to check you out further. Take the time to check out the plethora of blogs on the web. Make a list of the ones appropriate to your affiliate topic. Schedule time to post relevant comments on these chosen blogs each week.
It's the same with e-mail correspondence. Your affiliate website may encourage feedback and questions from your visitors. You encourage this so you can provide more affiliate product information to a potential customer. You also encourage this so you can build your list.
When visitors to your site request more information do you just send out a pre-written automated response? While there is nothing wrong with that, it doesn't hurt to answer some e-mails personally. You cannot answer all of them, or even a third of them. You can answer, however, a sampling of them on a monthly basis. You build customer relationships this way.
Answering a handful of e-mails personally on a regular basis means changing the subject line so it's more personal. If you do not, it will appear as just a sales type response and may get the big "X" for deletion. Address your e-mail personally to the person receiving it and put a short personal message in the subject line to encourage opening.
Take the time to be sociable when it comes to affiliate marketing. When you engage in one on one conversation with potential customers, you breathe life into your business. Let's face it, affiliate marketing can seem highly impersonal at times. Make your affiliate business more personal and get those persons showing up as traffic to your website.

Comparing Writer Training Programs
By Tiva Kelly
If you're a novice at the article writing and article-marketing game then you are probably looking for training to improve your efforts. There are many different article distribution services ready to accept your article submissions. However, do they all provide that additional writers' training you may desire?
When you investigate article distribution services, look at all they have to offer. Sure, you want a service that offers widespread distribution of your articles. That's important, but so are those writers' training services that some provide. Those training programs help you write better, and faster, so you get more of your articles into circulation. When looking at services, check to ensure their writers' training services are current. Check to see if they offer any new software programs, or other resources to help your article writing efforts.
We'll consider a few article distribution services advertising their services to see if they offer writer training. A look at iSnare's site shows that you have to sign-up as a member to get more information. They do show that if you sign up for their platinum membership you’ll receive extra benefits. These include more exposure for your articles under a platinum membership. They will also include a full-page biography about you as a writer. However, their service seems geared to promoting your articles, not helping you write those articles. They do not trumpet an article-writing training program on their site.
The same goes with the Phantom Writers article distribution service. They offer an extensive article distribution service but do not promote an in-house training program for writers. They do have a recommended resources section where they offer information. Investigating that link, you will find an article-marketing book you can purchase. You will also find a link to a home-study writing course you can purchase.
SubmitYourArticle does offer a resource to help novice writers learn about article writing and marketing. They provide an extensive help library to those who sign up for their service. This resource library contains tips and useful information on writing articles and getting them published. For any writer these resource articles are valuable when wanting to upgrade article writing and article marketing skills.
Article Marketer offers a broad range of resources for article writers. They offer their Article Marketer University, which is full of useful training items one can access. These include podcasts, audio on demand, and e-books available for download. The great thing is they provide all of these resources free of charge. They also offer free article writing software for download to help you write more efficiently.
An example from their site of audio on demand is a sixty-minute audio on doubling your writing speed. An example of one of their downloadable e-books is "Article Marketing with Blogs and RSS". These are just two examples of the plethora of resources available to writers on the Article Marketer site. In addition, Article Marketer offers their users a Best Practices Guide to Article Marketing. This is so those engaging in an article promotion campaign will know what editors and publishers require.
Make sure, when you investigate article distribution services that you go beyond the basics. Whether you sign up for a free or paid membership, you want more than just article distribution. You want any training and mentoring available.
There's a horde of content on the Worldwide Web. You want yours to stand out. Proper article writing and article marketing training will help your content get the attention it deserves. Therefore, don't settle for so-so. Settle for a service that really offers you a full complement of resources so you write and promote your articles in the best way possible.

Secrets To Rocket Start a Booming Ebay Business
By Parmod Bansali
For serious entrepreneurs, however, selling on eBay can be a good way to start a new business if you are willing to put in the time and energy required to make the business a success. eBay is also a good option for existing businesses to expand their reach by selling online.
Everyone from small used car dealers to giant companies like Dell Computers have discovered that eBay is an excellent place to hawk their wares simply due to the huge number of folks who visit the eBay site on a daily basis. Nowhere else on earth will you find such a large pool of potential customers.
Consider these numbers:
• There are nearly 69 million eBay users who spend $59 million every day.
• Most eBay sellers are home-based businesses that sell everything from porcelain dolls to locks of Elvis' hair to $100,000 Mercedes convertibles to $5 million dollar vacation homes.
• Every minute of every day more than 150 new items are listed for sale, more than 500 bids are placed, and seven new people register to shop on eBay.
• At any given moment, eBay is conducting some 12 million auctions, divided into about 18,000 different categories.
• About two million new items are offered for sale every day, and 62 million registered users scour the site to find them.
When it comes down to the mechanics of it all, running an eBay business is no different than running a brick and mortar business. You still have the same considerations regarding product selection, inventory purchasing, product pricing, inventory management, order processing, fulfillment, customer service, etc.
One of the biggest obstacles to building a successful eBay business may be the stiffness of the competition. Many sellers sell identical items and the price wars often get ugly, but that's to be expected in a free market place, which is exactly what eBay is.
So, can you build a profitable business selling on eBay?
Certainly, thousands of people have done it and so can you.
Here are a few tips to help get you started:
Sell Quality Products
Don't sell junk! Leave the knick-knacks and fake leather jackets to the less informed. You should offer only quality products at a fair price.
Research The Competition
Once you have your product in mind, don't invest a dime on inventory until you have spent some time on eBay to see what the competition is doing. If you want to sell motorcycle helmets, for example, you should look at current auctions to see how many others are selling similar helmets and what prices they are charging.
Test, Test, Test
A fair portion of eBay auctions result in no sales, so it's best to test the waters before jumping in with both feet.
List a few items and see how they sell. If an item doesn't sell, list it at least twice more. Some items might not sell the first time, but may the second or third, then sell steadily from then on.
If an item gets no bids the first time, consider adjusting your price or your terms. If an item sells well, keep it in stock and then experiment with another item.
Do Your Homework
eBay is too broad a subject to be covered fully here, but there are a multitude of books available that can help you start an eBay business. In fact, I bet you'll find most of them for sale at this very moment at eBay.
